My opinion of Signs: I liked it. I thought it was a very well thought out movie. I love the double plot. How everything happens for a reason and there are no coincidences. For example, how the little boy, Morgan, has asthma so his lungs would be closed when the alien shot the poison at him in the end. And how the Bo [the little girl] always was thinking her water was contaminated so there would be all those glasses of water sitting around, just waiting for the brother (of mel gibson) to hit at the alien. How that guy fell asleep at the wheel at the exact moment he passed [mel gibson's] wife as she walked by the tree she got pinned against. Her words, right before she died, "Tell [Mel gibson's brother] to swing away." And that's what [mel gibson] said to his [brother] at the end. It's all coincidences like that. There are smaller ones too, like at the end where [mel gibson] rolls out the TV and it's in the right position to see the alien's silhouette against the window. That's part was so freaky. Another small coincidence, when [mel gibson] was at the house of the man who killed his wife and he was looking under the pantry door, there was a knife, just sitting there, so he could cut off the alien's fingers. I'm sure you all noticed this, but the alien at the end who grabbed morgan was the same alien that [mel gibson] cut the two fingers off of. *eep* One other freaky coincidence was in Morgan's book. It showed the aliens ship burning a house that looked oddly like the one they lived in. But the scariest part was on the driveway in the picture was 1 large dead human ([mel gibson]) and two smaller dead humans (bo and morgan)

Well all this talk of such a scary movie is giving me the creeps. >.< I gotta do something else now. -Tedi
