From The Heart
Poet's Pages
We have all seen them. They come and go through out our lives.
They walk over the earth waiting. Watching for the ones who fall.
They help us up. I have come to see that, I am one of them.
I see now that I have been put here to help people get thru
a rough
part of their lives. I go about my life,
waiting for someone who
needs a little love and help.
I reach down. I take their hand and help
them up.
I then hold it and walk with them
until they can go the
road alone. Some times
I give to them a kind word, a gentle touch,
or an ear to talk to.
Either way, they become at ease with me, let
their troubles go.
They take strength from me. You see, many
Spirits
walk with the walker, the bear, for strength.
The wolf for
protection. The hawk to look ahead
to see what lays in wait, the eagle
to give the magic it brings to your heart
when you see it flying so high.
There are many animals, and birds
that walk with us each doing it's
part to help you.
Then when you are able to walk the road alone
or you find the right path,
my job is done. I then walk the world alone, waiting for
a new person who needs me. The sad part about this
is that we never
get to feel what you feel.
Only get to be loved for the time you need us.
I see more than ever as days go on, walkers are in many forms.
They
are men, women and pets,
they are anything that will take away the
hurt you feel.
Or give you a warm feeling inside. One that
let's you believe that,
maybe you are not alone in this world.
Or make those who you love see just how special
you really are. All your life they have come
in and out of your life.
Just you never see them. But think for just one second.
Of that time you fell off your bike.
That stranger or friend that helped you up,
dusted you off, and made you feel you were ok.
You have seen the stories on television,
where someone comes along and pulls a person
from a wrecked car, and they disappear into the night.
A pet that wakes the household up and its on fire!
You just never see them for what they are.
How many times has a Ghost Walker come into your life?
How many times has one cheered you up?
Helped you with that flat tire? A lot?
Probably! So next time someone
or something makes you feel loved, or
gives you a hand up when you they you are alone,
think about whatI have said
and ask your self this question:
How many times has he or she been there,
and has done that for you?"
We are taken for granted that we will always be there.
That's not always true. Like that last ember in a fire,
we do get burned out. So maybe next time,
Say thank you. Or a simple hug
would keep that ember burning.
I know an I Love You always does.
Why be so afraid To? Ghost Walkers do all the time.
So until you need us again, take care.
And remember, we live in all you meet, in all you see and do.
I love you.
