As I sit here and think
I can't help but to realize
the mistake's I've made.
I made one when
I let you in my life
I gave you my heart
I gave you my soul
and yet you put them aside
to listen to others thoughts
and feelings rather than your own
I guess everyone
came before me in your life
as I wish I was first
I used to think my world
evolved within you!!
I thought you would
fulfill my life.
I thought we were meant to be.
I thought nothing and no one else
mattered but you and me
I guess all I can say is
my thoughts were wrong.
Yet, I knew
my feelings for you were strong
And now I know for me
to be your love,
is only a fantasy.
Loneliness can destroy the beauty
of Unconditional LOVE,
For this, you cared not to see.
The hurt, betrayal
and all the things told,
not to me,
but the ones I now know
you loved more
and it wasn't me.
The only thing I wanted
was not to be lonely,
for you to desire this love.
Was not your need.

to love your friends.
