Memories

I saw her this morning,
sitting
in the porch swing,
with her cotton
dress,
swaying in the wind,
and the
morning sunlight
shinning upon her silky skin,
her eyes as blue,
as the clear blue sky
the blue birds
singing up high
realizing its just my
memories,
wishing to see her again.
I
remember the moonlight nights,
walking
on the beach,
and the soft, wet sand
beneath our feet.
The sound of the waves rolling in,
And her hair blowing in the wind,
makes
me realize,
that God had given me,
the perfect
woman,
and now he has taken her from
me,
all I have left,
are just the memories.
