My Love:
to the ground and bringing life
to the grasses and flowers of nature
I long to have your arms embrace me
like the rain embraces the flowers
and entices them to bloom.
The feelings I have for you
are like a summer breeze.
So soft and warm are my feelings
that sometimes I fear I may die
from the thought of it.
Even a simple kiss on the cheek
puts me in a differant world.
I often wonder how anyone
can be so remote and distant to someone
who is trying their best to prove
that each person is a seperate being with feelings.
A simple touch or look
is all that is needed to express feelings.
I wonder what your feelings are.
Are they like the rain,
so soft and gentle,
encouraging the flowers and grasses to
come forth and show their beauty,
or are the feelings you have for me
like a winters storm,
cold and empty?
Oh, to only know
would ease this ache I feel in my chest.
The uncertainty would be put to sleep
and then I could go forward
and stop this conflict
I have been going through.
Tell me, my love,
am I fighting a losing battle with you
or am I just too impatient?
