When Haruka first appears, everyone thinks that she's a boy, but later discover that she's a Sailor Soldier and a girl! At first, Bunny, Minako and Makoto had small crushes on Haruka before they found out that she was a girl. Haruka is brash, sarcastic and enjoys dressing, talking, and acting like a boy. She likes to tease anyone who thinks she is a boy. Haruka wears the boys' school uniform of Mugen Gakuen (Infinity College), which only confuses people even more.

One of the most powerful soldiers, she would sacrifice anything for her cause. She thinks of getting her duty done before anything.
