About Hotaru

In Sailormoon S, Chibiusa meets a kind, quiet, but sick-looking girl named Tomoe Hotaru and they become friends. Hotaru is the daughter of Professor Soichi Tomoe, who works for the Death Busters. While performing experiments on Hotaru's body, he planted a demon egg in her so that Mistress Nine could take over her body. Once Mistress Nine takes over Hotaru's body, she steals the Silver Crystal from Chibiusa. By doing this she becomes very powerful and tries to bring Pharaon 90 to earth; however, Hotaru is fighting inside to get her body back and forces Mistress Nine to destroy the body. When the Sailor Soldiers defeat the Death Busters, Neo-Queen Serenity, through Sailor Moon, reincarnates Hotaru as a baby. Haruka-papa, Michiru-mama, and Setsuna-mama (what Hotaru calls them) then take care of her.

Sailor Saturn is the soldier of death and rebirth. She has the power to destroy the world and it is said that the appearance of Sailor Saturn means destruction. She carries the Silence Glaive, which she uses in all her attacks.
