Episode Facts:

Here are a few interesting facts that occur in some of the episodes. You'll learn new things in here for sure and laugh a little lol.

some info taken from tvtome.com

Strategy X:

-The Toad's name has been changed from Mortimer Toynbee to Todd Tolensky.

-Kurt arrives wearing a brown robe. In the original X-Men, Kurt Wagner was a priest, and as such wore a brown robe most times, also to hide his devil-like appearance, as in here.

Rogue Recruit:

-This cartoon series focuses on Rogue's natural mutant abilities and does not exhibit Ms. Marvel's powers (flight, 7th sense, invulnerability, super-strength).

-Rogue says: "Ich verstehte Deutscher?" Literally "I understand German?" lol

-Rogue pushes Cyclops with one hand gloved and the other bare but doesn't absorb his powers. Odd...

The Cauldron2

-This is the first time that we see Magneto without his helmet.

Growing Pains:

-This episode introduces the school's new principal, assigned after the disappearance of Mystique. In the X-Men comics, Kelly is a senator involved in mutant affairs.

Badabing Badaboom:

-Boom-Boom leaves the Xavier Institute and joins the Brotherhood.

-Wild Blue Yonder boy likes Tabitha?

-Arcade is seen walking in the background in the fair

Fun and Games:

-In this episode, it is revealed for the first time that Risty Wilde is really Mystique in disguise.

-Arcade is introduced, a future mutant to be?

Adrift:

-Prof. X actually makes a funny prank

On Angel's Wings:

-Kitty is shown lighting a Menorah in the ending montage, establishing that she is Jewish.

Mindbender:

-First episode to mention Apocalypse, who is a major nemesis (and the world's first mutant - over a thousand years old) of the X-Men in the comics.

Walk on the wild side:

-The song in the episode is credited to Giovanni Moscardino, who also serves as the shows dialogue editor.

Operation: Rebirth:

-S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate.

-It is established that Wolverine's mutant power makes him ageless since he looked just the same in World War 2, and this way it is also mentioned he and Magneto knew each other when Logan rescued him from a German concentration camp in Poland when he was a child.

The HEX factor:

-Although Agatha Harkness helped trained Wanda in the comics, she is actually a "good" witch and doesn't help villains as is shown here.

-Boom Boom leaves the Brotherhood and goes where???

The Stuff of Heroes:

-In this episode Wolverine gets a new uniform which is black with golden stripes in the shoulders and with no mask.

Mainstream:

-Indeed, all trophies Jean has won are removed. Principal Edward Kelly, who removes the trophies, is now shown as the mutant hater Senator Robert Kelly is in the comic and movie.

-For now, some of the younger X-Men are taken out of the Xavier School, including Jubilee.

-Kurt's fear of being rejected is now at its peak

The Stuff of Villains:

-the old brotherhood joins the new

-Gambit actually talks for the 1st time

Extreme Measures:

-In the comics and on the old cartoon show Storm became the leaders of the Morlocks. She gave up her leadership role of the Morlocks a while back in the comics.

-Evan leaves the x-men and joins the Morlocks.

-New mutants are introduced that weren't in the comics: Lucid, Facade and the little girl.

-Scaleface has a cameo appearance

-The annoying guy following Spyke around also appeared in Mainstream

The Toad, the Witch and the Wardobe:

-The title of the episode is a reference to the novel "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", the second of C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia" books.

-Note that Pietro appears to be watching "The Crocodile Hunter". The guy is getting bit by a snake when the camera cuts away - maybe the writers aren't a fan of the show...I know I'm not.

-Amanda's last name is Sefton. So she's the Amanda from the comics, and a future mutant ^_^.

Self-possessed:

-this is the second episode to hint at Apocalypse appearing on the show. The first was the 2nd season episode "Mindbender".

-Rogue is Mystique's adopted child...therefore Kurt is her brother >o<
