Small towns are made up of the people who live there.
At times, the town may seem like Mayberry, or it may seem like Peyton Place.
But regardless of how many
characters reside there, heroes live in small towns as well.
They may never make the news on WBKO (our ABC affiliate in nearby Bowling Green), but they're still heroes, just the same.

Our heroes are folks who work long hours without recognition because they take pride in their work.
They work at more than one job to provide for their families. They volunteer to teach crafts to Scouts or take time with people in hospitals and nursing homes just because they love people.

They love going fishing, and watching "wrasslin',"
and cooking out on summer evenings
while the kids are running and shouting
on sweet just-mown grass.
