This site will show Franklin, Kentucky, and the surrounding area during all seasons. However, it begins with fall of 1999, because that's when my photos for the page began. That autumn season was one of the most beautiful I could remember in a long time. I was really surprised, after the incredible drought we had experienced during the year. (We were over seven inches short of the yearly average precipitation.) I attempted to record the changes with my camera, partly because I can't always draw and paint outside. Then I decided to share some photos on the web, especially since my daughter Cathie has often been in another part of the world, missing the seasons at home.
