tsuki to sabaku (Moon and Desert)
the groaning neck (of the guitar)
 the wreckage of time questions
  reality continuing to spin
the flickering shadows, the dried up sun.

the shadow of the moon infinitely falling.
the relics of love floating up into space
all of it becomes ridges of the earth's pulse.

peel away the sky and throw it into the sea.
a freedom we never see is spreading.
  it's always there.

 swallowed by a silver fluid
I kept in pursuit of the meaning of freedom

time is in a sea blown by memory
in the abyss distant memory made a nest in

spinning spinning made-up limitations
the truth, finally floated down to the ground
even if space is just a single cell

time is buried in the sand of memory
 I've grown cold, lying here
  someday I'll come to there

 afraid of the aimless night
when I was lost in the soundless forest.

the moon quietly began to shine
the quiet moon is just there.

when is the day coming that the moon gone
reddish-brown climbs the sky,
 a wingless freedom is rampant,
  in the panicking crowds overflowing

how much longer can I live?
how much longer will I be permitted?

   the only thing there
is the dried up remains of the earth, wind and sea.
