Greg Domenick has spent the past eight years building and showing this 1988 Toyota 4Runner. It's currently running 44-inch TSL Boggers on 15 x 12-inch Weld Typhoon wheels. Dynatrac built Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axles with disc brakes run 5.86 gears with 35 spline shafts. The independent front suspension was ditched back in 1994 in favor for a straight axle conversion using brackets and hangers off an 1985 4Runner.
The truck has 12-inch Superlift front and rear springs out of a full-size Chevy along with two-inch extended shackles, two-inch traction lift (rear only for safety), along with a three-inch Trailmaster body lift.
The 3.0-liter V-6 has only 35,000 miles. The motor has Downey headers, "Y"-pipe and an open air filter assembly along with a polished Dynomax muffler. This past winter the motor will have had extensive work done by D.O.A. Racing to push its power to 215HP. Here's the latest look at the powerplant.
A full Smittybilt rollcage protects the family. (Greg's wife is had their first child in December 1999 - a girl). Custom yellow upholstered Recaro seats are soon to have a matching baby seat.
