Fun Facts:

Smokey has a very gentle disposition, as is characteristic of Russian Blues.  This big snuggler loves to lay in your lap or wrap his paws around your neck to hug you if you are carrying him!

Smokey is very calm most of  the time, even around other cats.

Smokey gets excited when he knows you are coming over to pay attention to him!

He LOVES to be held in your arms, and completely relaxes and purrs once there!!!

More about Smokey:

Smokey's owner died, and the relatives sold the house out from under him, putting him out into the yard!   This poor guy was anemic and dehydrated when we got him, because he was starving outside.  He hung around, begging the new owners to let him in, until they did and contacted us for help.

Smokey could be older, or he's had a hard-knock life, because he's lost several teeth.

This clever fellow has a good appetite, eating both dry and canned food, and is now in excellant health!

Smokey is being fostered with other cats, so we know he is very relaxed with them! Smokey has an unusually square muzzle, similar to a Korat, another gray kitty.  He could be part Korat! Smokey has the lusciously soft fur of a Russian blue!
