1998 Review

In 1998:

• Rich retired.
• We got a new grandchild.
• Monica got her MBA. Roni got a new job.
• 
  Tanith died, as did the rabbit Antenna, and the Siamese fighting fish I bought at the Loretto auction.
• 
  The roof blew off.
• We had company: Makoto in March and Tim in July.
• 
  We went to Yosemite, and I'll have that page done Real Soon Now.
• In August, we took a trip through the Olympic Peninsula and home down the Oregon Coast. That trip will be done Real Soon Now, as well.
• We also had a nice trip to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving. Rich went to San Antonio in February.
• 
  I saw WHALES!
• I read 134 books.
• I saw 64 movies, and many plays again.
• I did the Bay to Breakers again.
• I had 7175 visitors to my home page (600 more than last year) and 5302 (800 more than 97) to my journal page. I added pictures and pages to the tune of 13 meg more than before (somebody got a scanner!) to a total of 17.4 M. (And I'm not done, not yet!) I joined Open Pages in January and writing the journal has become one of the main things I do here.
