We went to Spokane twice, once for the
graduation and in September to take Bernadette
back. We went to Monterey where I went to
Bouchercon. We had one
terrific night in San Jose to see the travelling Smithsonian exhibit. Rich went to
Pittsburgh in February.
I read 130 books though I bought a lot more! One that really sticks in my mind is
Into Thin Air.
I saw 48 movies. I think Contact was my favorite.
Many plays! We saw Phantom of the Opera! I also loved The Begger's Opera.
I took up walking and joined the SoleMates walking club. I did the Bay to Breakers
in 3:31.42 (which included getting to the start line and a potty wait.)
That was probably my proudest moment of the year, and the one of which
I'm most ashamed was the day I panicked with a firetruck next to
me and got in its way.
I had 6554 visitors to my home page and 4572 to my journal page. I added pictures and
pages to the tune of 3.5 meg more than before, to a total of 4.3 M. (And I'm not done, not yet!) I joined Open Pages in January and writing the journal has become one of the main things I do here.
