April 19: Oklahoma City Day

And Waco Day, too, let's not forget.

I dropped off Bernadette's old camp uniforms today with the new Camp Director, who is willing to give her good money for them. She told me not to give away either of the tan t-shirts, as she had designed that logo. I think I should scan all her t-shirt logos, not just the Dex one.

Anyway, I wanted to see Cookie's Fortune and unfortunately, it was in only two places, the one I have been boycotting and one clear the heck and gone out in Rocklin. Since I was in the area of the Market Square one, I thought I would give them One More Chance, however reluctantly. As it happened, the movie didn't get jammed and the help managed to give me my popcorn order, there were no rats nor drunks in the theater, and it was an OK experience.
The movie was better than OK, it was hilarious. I think the only other Altman film I've ever seen was M*A*S*H and I liked the TV show better. However, this had its totally zany Northern Exposure or Simpsons moments. At one point, when they were telling of the end of a really REALLY minor character, I was laughing so hard I was pounding the seat arms, and I wasn't the only one.

The Scrounge Report: Rich found 5 golf balls and 2 softballs.
