April 17: Disappointment

I am the very model of a modern left wing democrat.
I vent my spleen and prattle in forums on the internet.
I can’t hold long a single thought. I need to take my Ritalin.
Now what was that you asked of me? Did I just take my vitamin?
I cannot lose an argument, so why don’t you get used to it.
I won’t concede a single point, even if there’s no truth in it.
No matter what you say to me, I’ll post back an ad-homenim.
Regardless of the things you do, you’re all BushHitler’s supermen
--- George Turner via Denbeste. Read it all.

Rich spent the day helping with a Knights of Columbus softball tournament. When he got home we took some books to the SPCA booksale, and bought some as well, of course.

Then it was time to cache. I thought I had a clue as to this one, but I wasn't even close. We got some pretty odd looks and gave up on it. Secondly, we went looking for another, that had been first posted entirely wrong. I turned out to be a mile off as well. We finally got the right coordinates, near some doctors' offices, and traded a travel bug for a strange stamp. Then we started looking for another, and drove around and around and around till we found the way into the park, at which time the skies opened. Rich finally found his umbrella and kept trying to protect me with it, by running into me and knocking me off my feet. It got worse and we gave up. There are *9* new caches on my front page! When the party gets off, and the moving cache that was at it gets off, maybe it'll look better.

Back at home, I roasted a chicken... then when I put the quarter on my plate and went for my cranberry sauce, I dropped it and exploded the plate. We managed to keep Sailor out of it. Argh.

Somehow, I got a few sights of an infomercial, and now I must have this!

I got an email from Ofoto. Let's just see.

Good. It's pretty hard not to dance in the streets, y'know?

Taxblogging. And more, on Kerry.

Steven Denbeste on apologies.

Heh. Especially "Touch Woody" and "Hello Cthulhu."
