| Strawberry Shortcake was one of my all time favorite 80's cartoon character. She rates right up there with the Care Bears as far as being sweet, cute, innocent and she really instills good values in children. Before she became popular again this year, I started collecting stuff off of Ebay like Strawberry Shortcake twin sheets and a baby quilt with Strawberry Shortcake on it which I hung on the wall of my girl's bedroom :) And I was given a set of Strawberry Shortcake pictures which was a nice addition as well to their newly pale pink painted bedroom. So they have the dream bedroom I always wanted as a child... a pale pink bedroom with adorable Strawberry Shortcake. My 5 year old loves her as well, I bought her the new Strawberry Shortcake doll they came out with this year and she just loves her. Some things of childhood are just too precious to give up, I guess. |
