This is the Jon Bon Jovi that I remember from my teenage years back in the 80's. I grew up listening to their music--fell in love with the lyrics to most of their songs and knew them by heart and had Jon's face PLASTERED all over my walls... ;) I think my best friend and I about cried when he got married.... hehe
But we were also happy because he was at least marrying his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley. They are still married today and have 3 beautiful children. Although I was always fascinated with the music, because it wasn't metal, and wasn't really HARD ROCK to me, just soft rock, and you could understand the words to it, unlike some other bands back then, I had more of a fascination with Jon himself. I mean, LOOK at him... what red-blooded American woman WOULDN'T think he was cute?!?!?! (If you don't, girl, get you some GLASSES).... LOL I think a lot of it was the wild carefree hair and when Jon shorn his locks... and came out with a new album, he seemed different and I didn't really listen to his music for a few years after that. Now, since the release of It's My Life, I've become very into his music again and YES I still think he's a very sexy guy, short hair and ALL. :) So for your viewing pleasure.... here's some pix from the past and present.
