Chapter 9 Sirius's Letter "I wonder what Professor Callen is going to be like" Hermione said as they walked to the Great Hall the next morning. "I hope he's good. If he is good I hope he stays. Now I'm starting to think the job is jinxed." said Ron "Well you never know," said Harry. "He seems like another Bagman" "He was nice enough but he wasn't to bright was he?" "I wonder what's for breakfast. I hope it's--" "Eggs and sausage?" "Uh- I guess" "You really don't have a choice because that's what's on the plates." "Yeah, I know. Look here's the mail." A brown screech owl landed in front of Harry, and took off after Harry had taken the letter from it's leg. "It's from Snuffles," Harry said. Alexa, Ron, Hermione crowded around Harry to read it. Harry, Like last year, keep me updated on anything unusual. I should have told you earlier. But Harry, never go looking for Voldemort again like you did. Stay around Alexa and don't wander around. If Voldemort was still in the area, you'd be vulnerable by yourself. So make sure you're always near Dumbledore or Alexa. And keep me updated. Sirius "I can't believe I didn't tell Sirius about Voldemort being here. And how did he find out about that?" "Dumbledore" "What?" "Harry, remember, you aren't Snuffle's only contact. He sends owls to me and Dumbledore too" "Oh, I forgot" "Really?" Ron said sarcastically. "But I still can't believe I didn't tell him" Harry said acting as if he hadn't heard Ron. "It's not like you had time. We had to go to bed and couldn't talk or anything, then we had classes and then homework." "Ron, do us a favour and stop blabbing." Alexa said smiling. "Come on, we'll be late for Transfiguration" Hermione said. |
