Alexa lay in her sleeping bag that night, thinking about what had happened. She tried to get it out of her head but she couldn't. She tried to go to sleep but... She felt like she was almost expecting Voldemort to turn up again. She knew he was going to try and kill Harry again but she wasn't going to let that happen or the world would be a mess.
"I'll warn Harry tomorrow" she whispered to herself. Alexa turned over and fell asleep.

The next morning, when the sleeping students had awakened, Dumbledore made the sleeping bags disappear with a wave of his wand. Then he made the tables go back to their original places. All the students sat down to eat but before the plates filled with food, Dumbledore stood up.
Alexa and Hermione were the last ones to get to the Gryffindor table and when they sat down, Hermione noticed a new teacher at the staff table.
"Look that must be the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher" she said.
"Did you three notice that we're the only ones down here?" Alexa asked pointing at the rest of the Gryffindor’s who were sitting as far as possible from Alexa.
"It'll blow over, the stuff Rita Skeeter wrote about me and Hermione did," Harry said.
"Yes but that was all lies. This is true."
"Last night was quite an exciting night. I told you all that Alexa Riddle saved our lives. You shall be returning to your dormitories tonight and classes shall resume today. But first I would like to introduce our new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Callen." Dumbledore said.
Professor Callen was a tall man and looked somewhat strict but when the usual applause for the teachers came he broke into a smile.
"Here's our schedules." Hermione said passing them to Ron, Harry and Alexa.
"I thought we already had schedules." Ron said.
"We did but they were changed."
"What do we have first?" Harry asked.
"Transfiguration, that's the same. Then we - err I have Arithmancy and you two have Divination" Hermione said pointing at Ron and Harry "and Alexa has Muggle Studies. Honestly, Ron should take Muggle Studies, he doesn't know how to use a telephone! "Hermione said laughing.
"Shut up Hermione. I bet Alexa doesn't know much about Muggles either."
"Actually I know what things are but not all the basics."
"What do we have after lunch?" Harry asked.
"Care of Magical Creatures and then Herbology."
"When do we have D.A.D.A.?" Ron asked looking at Professor Callen.
"Tomorrow after Double Potions with-"
"Don't tell me we're still with the Slytherins."
"Ok, I'll tell you. After Double Potions with the Slytherins. "Alexa said looking at her schedule.
"Hey what do you think Snape is supposed to do for Dumbledore?" Harry said changing the subject so Ron couldn't complain anymore.
"Maybe he's supposed to act as a supporter of You-Know-Who so he can get information." Ron said.
"Also known as a spy" Alexa said grinning. "I don't think Snapes going to be a spy. I'll tell you later or we'll be late for Transfiguration."

That night Harry and Ron were in the common room finishing their Divination.
"Didn't we do planets and stuff last year?" Ron asked.
"Yeah. I think she's trying to hit a world record on how many times someone is going to die. It's getting really old."
"You mean it already hasn't?" Ron said joking.
Hermione and Alexa climbed through the portrait hole and joined them in the corner.
"About time. Where've you been?" said Ron.
"In the library" Hermione said.
"So what are you going to tell us Alexa?" Harry asked before Ron could make any comments about them being in the library.
"Ok. You know how you think Snape is going to or is trying to be a spy? Well the reason I don't think that is because--"
"Exploding Snap anyone?" asked Fred.
"Err-"
"We were just going to the library." Hermione said.
"Yeah, I have to look up some stuff for Professor Bins" Harry said.
So they got up and climbed back out of the portrait hole and headed towards the library.
"You guys know that we can't talk privately now." Alexa said.
"So we'll tell Madam Pince we're looking up goblin rebellions and then act like we’re doing a group project so we can talk." Harry said.
They reached the library and sat down at the back table.
"Ok what was it...we needed to look up for our project?" Harry said because Madam Pince was nearby. "Hey where did Alexa go? She was just here with us."
"I'm here and I've got the book for our project. Let's get started."
Madam Pince gave the four one last look before going up to her desk in the front.
"All right. Snape isn't a spy because...How do I say this? Ok. A lot of the time, Most of the time I can tell what Voldemort-my father- is thinking. Don't ask me how but I think it has something to do with this bracelet." Alexa said in a hushed voice. Harry looked down at Alexa's left arm and saw for the first time a black and gold bracelet.
"He told my mother to put it on me when I turned a year old. And since my mum was in such a hurry to go find Voldemort, she put a curse on it on his instructions and went to go find my father. I wasn't a year old but she wanted to find Voldemort so she put it on me anyway and took me to my grandmothers. This was after she heard Voldemort had been defeated.
"So why don't you just take the bracelet off?" Ron asked.
"Like I said, it's cursed. It's supposed to-I'm not guaranteeing it- but it's supposed to kill all my loved ones and anyone that I care about. I don't know if the curse is right because my mother was in such a hurry. So something could be wrong if I'm not touching it all the time."
"What do you mean you have to touch it all the time? I thought you couldn't take it off!" said Hermione.
"I found a way to take it off but I accidentally dropped it and I don't know ifs it's the curse or a coincidence but my grandmother died at the same time."
Madam Pince came back and told them it was time to close the library. They left and headed back towards Gryffindor tower.
"Oh Harry! I forgot to tell you! The password was changed just before Alexa and
I went into the common room." Hermione said.
"Why?"
"In case Voldemort somehow found out about it. I don't know how he could have because he didn't get past the entrance hall because you two stopped him and I got him to leave."
"So what's the new password?"
"Wow, Harry. For being a prefect, you sure aren't on top of things." Ron said.
"The password is jiggleworms"
They climbed in and found Fred and George waiting for them.
"You guys didn't wait up for us did you?" Alexa asked.
"Not really. We played against almost every Gryffindor and we just finished playing ten games against Lee." Fred said.
"And you aren't tired of it?" Hermione asked amazed.
"Nope. Well come on George."
"What are you doing?"
"We're going to bed." George said.
"What about Exploding Snap?"
"Oh that was just a joke. We just wanted to see your reactions when you found us up." Fred said.
"Good night" said George.
"Can you believe them?" Ron asked.
"Oh well. I want to go to bed anyway." Alexa said
