Chapter 14 The Rat Over the next few weeks, Ron started seperating himself from Alexa. He'd noticed Harry and Alexa went off to study by themselves alot. He had tried to tell what his horrible thought was but Harry had gotten mad and yelled at him. "Then why did she save me from Voldemort?" Harry had said. Ron didn't dare tell Hermione. She'd be even more mad. So Ron tried to act normally. Nothing happened until three weeks before Easter. The teachers had been giving lots of homework and Hermione had given them study guides for the exams. One weekend, Harry, Alexa, Ron, and Hermione left for Hogsmeade. They were going to see Sirius when a rat with a missing toe ran by. Harry and Alexa ran after it with Ron and Hermione following when another rat with a missing toe ran by. Hermione and Ron followed the second rat. Harry and Alexa cornered the rat on the edge of one of the cliffs in the mountains. It was quite nice there, as it was spring. There was green grass and a few trees and thousands of feet below the cliff was a river, twisting and turning along the bottom of the cliff. Harry made to grab the rat but it vanished. The blue sky dissappeared and was replaced by a gray sky with storm clouds covering the once cloudless sky. Harry and Alexa heard a high, cruel laugh from behind them. They turned, hoping it was just a nightmare. Unfortunately, they weren't dreaming. Voldemort and Salisha stood behind them. "I have waited a long time. I shall not be waiting any longer. I am going to kill you now. And you, my foolish daughter, are not going to stand in my way. Goodbye Harry Potter. Avada Kedavra. Chapter 15 Alexa's Plan Two things happened then. Alexa pushed Harry over and yelled "Lyrindyas Kydvra!", and Sirius came running up and ran into Voldemort, knocking him over. Voldemort stood up, pointed his wand at Sirius and muttered something that sent Sirius flying backwards and hitting a tree so hard, he passed out. Salisha clapped her hands once and ropes materialised and wrapped themselves around Alexa's wrists. Salisha grabbed the other end of the ropes and dragged Alexa to another part of the cliff, and down a hill with Alexa struggling against the ropes. "This is your last chance Alexa Ann. You can join your father and I or you can die a painfull death. You're a very powerful witch already. It would be a shame to waste your powers. Which are you going to do?" "You think that I'll join you after all you've put me through? Abandoning me when I was a baby? And Dad, coming after me and putting the Imperius on me to get that stupid journal? If you think that, you're dead wrong." "Very well, my foolish daughter. Cr--" There was a large explosian between Alexa and Salisha that broke the ropes around Alexa's wrists. Salisha looked over to see Ron and Hermione standing several meters away, wands out and pointing at Salisha. Hermione muttered a spell quietly and Salisha's wand shot out of her hand and Ron caught it. Alexa had started crying silently because she knew what she had to do. And it could cost her her life.
