36.1 Summer of 1994: Lillooet, Autonomous House 3

36.1.1 Introduction

Joanna and I spent the summer of 1994 at Lillooet, building what I called, "Autonomous House 3". The context of this house in the series of autonomous houses is as follows:

There were twelve peaks which I climbed during the summer of 1994. The tallest and most dramatic was "Black Tusk" shown below.

36.1.6 Horse-back Riding

Half way between my property and Pemberton was a ranch where we could ride horses. This ranch is seen from the air in the photo at right. It's location is also shown on the map below.
