Upbeats and Breakdowns 1999-2001

So I'm finally letting the world know that the Fighting Hellfish has borken up. It happened last November, and we're on pretty good terms now. Justin and Josh have moved to Columbus and have started a hip-hop/reggae project called the Lo-Fi Massive, they'll probably have something on Lactose Intolerant soon, and i hear they are awesome. I'm still living in Toledo, but none of my projects have started to surface. I'm keeping busy helping Dave at Lactose revamp toledopunks.com, and continuing my roll at LIR as the guy who is asked advice, but no one heads it. I'm also working on a new project with Jake, longtime high school friend and former guitarist for DeKay, starting a new job delivering ice, and trying to write a screen play. Lactose will still be releasing our somewhat awaited cd, but it will probably be an anthology now, featuring all sorts of different recordings, including some live stuff and our unreleased first record that only 10 people ever heard. To stay posted on that and the updates of our post-Hellfish work, join our mailing list. You'll stay up to date with it.

I want to end by saying thanks to all the bands we played with, especially sixplusone, Citizens Arrest, Donkey Punch, TDX, and Cadillac Blindside. You guys were like family and it was always more than just another show playing with you (everyone should definitely check them all out if you haven't already). We also want to thank Dave and Doug at LIR, the one and only Neil, Jen and Megan for Pictures and merch sales, the Ex's, Detroit Erin, WBGUfm, Jesse, everyone who's in the family (you know who you are), and everyone that ever saw us, danced, sang a long, jumped on stage, read this, drove to see us, put us up, visited this website, booked us a show, said something nice about us, said something horrible, lied and said that they had heard of us, asked what happened, skated with us, bought stuff, put a sticker on their car, said they miss us or anything else, THANK YOU. You made this all worth it, and i think i speak for everyone in saying that it made this last two years the best two years of our lives.
