A Poem for Kalay
In this world where we wander around,
Where people are meant to be bound.
you end up walking on your own,
You look at the horizon all alone.
The road has ended and you can't go on,
The night stays, holding back the light of dawn.
You have fallen in the pit of deceivingness,
You are left with your broken heart, helpless.
But suddenly, I walk with you,
And at the end of the horizon, there's one thing I have to do
I want to show you a new way, where the road of love stretches wide,
Where light shines forever, and forever I'll be by your side.
Kalay, now you know what I've been wanting to say,
My feelings wanting to burst out each and every day.
All I ask is for a chance for you to know what I mean,
For you to understand and realise what you have seen.
I can go on with words to tell you my way,
But action speaks louder than words so they say.
To pull you out of the dark pit is what I'll do,
But I'm the one falling now, falling for you...
