Workshops and Visits.
Felicity has many years experience as a creative writing tutor for students from mid-primary level to HSC. Workshops include the craft of writing short stories, crime, history and fantasy (with a bag of magical objects to stimulate the imagination and get those creative juices flowing!)
She is happy to talk about her novels and give writing tips to budding authors, or talk about the legend and sites associated with King Arthur and Camelot, researching the grisly history of the Quarantine Station while writing Ghost Boy, or researching medieval history and the English countryside for the Janna Mysteries.
She has photographs, maps and documents to illustrate her talks.

Felicity's novels reflect her fascination with the unknown and with history, particularly medieval history. Her novels include The Janna Mysteries- a new medieval crime series for teenagers set in the 1140s during the civil war between King Stephen and his cousin Matilda.
The novels follow the quest of a young girl, a healer, to find her unknown father and seek justice for the death of her mother. Along the way she solves crimes and mysteries, including the truth of her own identity and heritage. Book 1, Rosemary for Remembrance is out now. Books 2 and 3 Rue for Repentance and Lilies for Love will be published in March and October, 2006.
In the Shalott trilogy, five Australian teenagers try to change the legend of King Arthur, but rewrite their own destiny instead. Set partly in medieval time, this is a fantasy/adventure which explores notions of identity, courage, heroism, honour and truth, as well as ambition, treachery, deceipt and betrayal.
Ghost Boy
is a timeslip adventure for readers aged 9+. The 12 year old Froggy must conquer his fear of drowning and learn to trust in order to solve the secrets of the past. Incorporating some of the grisly history of the Quarantine Station in Sydney in the 1880s, the novel may be read in conjunction with the special 'Ghost Boy' tour available at the QS.
