Effect of two year application of glutamic by product on yield of corn-sorghum and chemical properties of two upland soils was conducted at Nakhonsawan field crops research centre, Nakhonsawan province.  Randomized complete block design was employed with 3 replications.  The 14 treatmments, were 0-0-0, 0-5-5, 0-10-10, 10-10-10 (N-P2O5-K2O kg/rai) amiami at the rate 300, 600, 900 l/r, amiami 600 l/r + 0-5-5, amiami 600 l/r + 0-10-10 and amimate at the rate 100, 200, 300 kg/r, amimate 200 kg/r + 0-5-5 and amimate 200 kg/r + 0-10-10

The combination of two year experiments in Lopburi and Wanghai soil series showed similar result.  The glutamic by products and fertilizer recommendation obtained yield significant different over control and without nitrogen plots.  The amiami gave higher yield than amimate and the optimum rate of amiami was 600 l/r or amimate 200 kg/r.

Residual effect of glutamic by product and fertilizer application to sorghum as succeeding crop showed similar result as well as corn crop.

The soil properties especially electric conductivity (EC) of glutamic by product plots increased in Lopburi soil and decreased in Wanghai soil as compared to control plot.
