Abstract

The objectives of this research was to study the attitude of board’s and farmers of Tambon Agricultural Technology transfer Centre (TATTC) in Lop-Buri province. There were 90 TATTC's in Lop-Buri and only 23 (25%) of these were selected to filled up the questionnaire by its board’s member but the farmers were interviewed by the research team. 69 persons were sampling to filled up the questionnaire and 345 farmers were interviewed. Questionnaire and interview procedure can be divided into 3 parts. 1) sampling persons’ socio-economic profile, 2)attitude on their TATTC’s activities, and 3) comments and suggestions. The questionnaire and interview procedure was tested, prior distribute to the sampling persons, to find the appropriate and confident on the questions with 40 persons who were not involved in the sampling. Then the data were analysed by ALPHA. There were 48 corrected questions and the liability was 0.8334. This research began collected data from the 2 August 2001 to the 27 December 2001, with the help of agricultural extension officer in the area. The data were analysed for frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation with SPSS for window computer programme. The results revealed that attitude of the TATTC’s board were not much difference from its farmers. The difference were, the farmer found that 1) objective of the TATTC does not clear, 2) The objective can not serve the farmer’s need, 3) some objectives were not suitable to the area, 4) some objectives were difficult to practices, 5)the farmers were not participated much to set up the objectives; 6) The TATTC has enough stationary equipments for working and 7)lack of farm equipments for working in the TATTC.
