Responses from the readers have made us more enthusiastic to produce this second issue of Field Crops Research Information, which is also published on the Internet. Comments and suggestions regarding the publication are welcome and much appreciated in order to improve our publication. Within this issue, details on newly released field crops varieties, such as Rayong 72 cassava variety and Nakhon Sawan 72 single-cross hybrid corn variety, are included. Information on other varieties will be published in the next issue. These varieties have been registered according to the Plant Variety Act B.E. 2518 and can be exchanged for research purposes.
