Smile

Pick apart, never thought
Remember the patterns ‘cuz you’ll
Never have a chance again.
To make off with memories
Cracks in our ceilings, holes in our buildings,
Paramedics are over-known
Local friends: story, never heard of it!
Her face has lips; her chest has tits,
No thanks, I’m busy.
Makes me crazy, it’s a product of nightmares
I’d rather sleep ‘cuz I want to live my dreams.

I thought alone about the choices that we make
I ran away only to realize my mistake
I meditate and then I burn
These zen-inspired inhibitions,
I’m sick and tired of my long lost visions.
I break apart things that area already broken,
And as the sun sets on the hill I kiss it all goodbye.

Her eyes remind me of what we never made
Opportunity awaits.
Animated like clay.
I can’t throw away love, and I love you so now
I just don’t know.
We can animate what seems to be as still as a moment
Yet the beauty can only be acknowledged when that moment is done.
We can animate.
