We stood along horizontal dewy cliff

To watch industrial and natural lights twinkle

In dark blue sky

With wind blowing us onto the windy road

Filled with windy drivers in windy cars.

   Making our futures windy

         (what’s around the next corner?)

He said the stars we saw

Were on the other side of the world, really.

  Time changes.

Pythagorean theorem explains it all, really.

The big dipper

         dipped down

                 ignited minds

    set mouths and blunts ablaze.

Lucy in the sky with Diamonds

     reverberated off of swaying grass

(better acoustics than one would expect)

The Constitution is everything,

                          It’s life, our lives,

             he claims.

    If it were true,

              it would be simple

       but it’s not

                so it can’t be…

  It’s all built on lies

        and Indian burial grounds

     The wind blew me home.

And I slept in bed.

                      Alone.
