I saw palm trees

          Reaching for the sky’s protection

They begged and dropped coconuts…

The sky kept moving further away

Saying it had to stay impartial.

It needed to be an individual entity

              Disconnected from trees and

     (even birds)

The sky was in a fight with mother nature

And coconuts splashed open

                  And got pedestrians’ feet wet.

         “Why won’t you help me?!”

         “I must return my power,

if I helped you, I would have

   to help everyone.”

      ‘So the brave trees replied.

         “So help everyone.”

             “I never thought of that.”
