The month of June
Is coming soon
Bringing sun
And lots of fun
It seems so fleet
That life has past
This path we beat
So that we’ll last
Avoid the task
Protect the mask
Until they knock
Oh shit, the clock
But soon I’ll leave
With room to breathe
A whole new life
A fruit too ripe
A sweetness fair
Throughout our days
Without a care
To break our daze
But what shall wait
Over yon hill?
What’s now our fate?
What if we spill?
Our lives are ours
No time to cower
Our turn to act
Create our track
And although the fact might daunt
What happens now, it’s what we “want”
