A Moment
Upon a path I was once lost
Yet fate was drowned and
My loss was stopped
As was the clock on my
Wrist once worn
So time itself was no longer formed
In the bliss of the moment
I thought to myself
How the indecisive future
Could no longer be held
Yet began time again
And as such so did I
As the perfection of a moment
Rose into the sky.
My love in which pain
Does now flow
Presented as joy sarcastic
To lighten the blow
Forgotten futures yield
Troubled pasts
Times in which truth has
Long since surpassed
As lust is put aside for
More rewarding commitment
Hurt is rekindled in the form of
Failure and torment
A friend thus shall remain in the past
Perhaps again more will be questioned
Once now has been had.
