Hi! My name's Natalie and I'm the one who designed all the graphics (not the images) for this site. I also made the DRD that you see running around on your screen (that's if your browser supports layers, & javascript) - his name is Xander. And of course I put the rest of the site together as well.Now a bit about me. I live in Adelaide Australia and I'm currently a graduate student studying Computer Science at University. My main interests are writing computer programs in Java, designing web pages (my first web site can be found here), watching TV (especially SF), reading books (fantasy & SF), going to the movies, listening to music (Enya, Ricky Martin, Evan Chen [music writer for JMS's Crusade], Holst, and more). When I'm not doing any of that I might just be found doing some embroidery! I also like to make computer graphics (Microbes is the best one so far) and playing computer games.
For a time I used to play the Piano, Violin, and Bassoon, I received an Associate Diploma of Music, Australia (A.Mus.A.), and achieved grade 8 on the Violin.
I'm interested in saving endangered species. This came about from studying Science at Uni where I majored in Genetics and Zoology. I went on to complete Honours in Zoology with a thesis entitled "The Incidence of Embryonic Haemoglobin and Placental Structure in three Australian Lizards". I applied for and only just missed out on getting to do a PhD in the same field.
