2004   July 23, 2004 Fann Wong is first MediaCorp artiste to hold concert in Vietnam Fann in Vietnam SINGAPORE : Fann Wong is the first MediaCorp artiste to perform in a concert in Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh TV station held a Friendship Melody concert last Friday, 16 July, and Fann sang some songs and performed alongside other top Vietnamese artistes in that historic performance. Popular MediaCorp drama series like The Return of the Condor Heroes have made Fann a household name in Vietnam, giving her a following that goes beyond Greater China. Apparently some fans just could not get enough of the star, and they trailed her on their motorbikes after the performance. Source: CNA
