In a nutshell:
Party girl - Joe-Ann
In Fann Wong first local drama in 10 months, Fann plays two characters: demure artist Yixin and party girl Joe-Ann. "I have a lot of friends who are studying art in Taiwan so I flew over there to observe what artists wear. They are more experimental with colour, and they usually carry a big tote. So that's what i designed for Yixin," she explains. "Joe-Ann is more cool - she pub-hops, she rides a motorbike. Joe-Ann is more likely to wear Emporio Armani stuff."
Demure artist Yixin
The buzz about this drama is its unexpected story plot twist, which of course we won’t reveal here. But suffice to say, Jing Zhong Ren, like Channel 8’s last thriller The Crime Hunters starring Xie Shaoguang, will surprise you and keep you guessing till the end!
Freddy Leow, the story planner for Jing Zhong Ren, came up with the script based on the legal loophole where people with split personalities disorder are exempted from their crime.
Thomas Ong
Jiansheng (Thomas) plays a filial son who kills a man for money to pay for his dad's medical fees. After 15 years in jail, he's reunited with his mum and brother (Qi yuwu) and meets a new love - a comic illustrator named Yixin (Fann). But his past seems determined to catch up with him. There's kidnapping, two mysterious deaths, and a bewildering mystery - his bro's sassy squeeze uncannily resembles his own.
Qi yuwu
Jianwei (Qi yuwu), who plays Thomas's pampered sib, enjoys a budding romance with Fann's Joe-Ann.
Qi Yuwu has led a very privileged life and is now the General Manager and heir of Prometix Corporation. Proud and confident, the rakish playboy finds himself utterly drawn to the charismatic and beautiful Joe Ann (Fann Wong).
Soon, Xiaofen senses something out of the ordinary about Yixin and Joe Ann. At this point, Xiaofen faces inexplicable and life-threatening accidents. Can she find out the truth in time to save Jiansheng and Jianwei?

Still a sizzlin's couple: Eight years after Wild Orchids, we still can't get Fann and Thomas out of our minds. "People still remember us a screen couple. Fans even come up to me and sing the theme song for Wild Orchid," says Fann. Despite losing touch with each other all these years, they still hit it off in front of and behind the camera. So how does she rate her pairing to Christopher Lee? I'll leave it to the audience to decide." is her shrewd rejoinder.
