Fake Jordan XI

White/Black/Concord
Jordan IV
BACKGROUND: Arguably the best shoes of all time, whether that be athletic shoes or not.  Nearly all colorways of these have sold out instantly and value has risen considerably since.

What made these so prominent is their patent leather, which was never used before on a pair of Air Jordans.  All aspects of these shoes just seem to flow together in a perfect combination of style, fashion, creativity, and performance.

Notice in the green box, the sole is a little darker in that area. That means the sole is clear....however, on authentic XIs the entire sole would be clear, not just the middle area.
The pink triangle is surrounding the carbon plating that is visible.  On this pair of fakes the carbon plating is a decent copy of the real thing, but you can tell that it isn't real because on a real pair, the the little squares should be more of an oval shape.
In the light blue circles there should be see-through ovals. On these fakes, however, there are none.
The yellow circle is surrounding a portion of the shiny patent leather. This is one of the easiest ways to tell fakes apart from authentics.  On this pair, the patent leather is very pointy in that spot, although it's kind of hard to tell from the angle of the picture.  A real pair is nice and rounded.  Be careful though, not all fakes have this mistake!
In the pink circle, you can see that the "23" is very crooked. This is a sign of poor quality. A mistake like this would've been considered B-grade or not even sold at all if it was an authentic Jordan product.
In the orange circle, the "11," which represents the shoe size, is the wrong font.  The little tip on each of the "1's" should be longer and point downwards, not just a little nubby. I hope that you understand what I mean. Just compare it to the authentic box and see the difference.
Notice the "1" on this Jordan box. Even though it is for the Jordan XII, it is the same exact type of box and label.
Here is a photograph of one of my Jordan boxes. Notice how the face is much smoother, and lighter colored. The fake box is very grainy looking and dark.
You can see Jordan's face on the top of the Jordan XI retro boxes in a series of lines.  On fake boxes, these lines are much darker and thicker and not nicely printed on the box like the authentic boxes.
White/Black/Dark Concord - Jumpman should be a purple color
The shoe in this picture is not even an authentic Jordan colorway. Only the colorways at the top-right part of the page are real colorways.
White/Columbia Blue/Black
Cool Grey/White
Black/True (Varsity) Red/White
These are all graphics I made that look exactly like the tags on the middle of the tongues of the XIs.  Make sure that the XI's you have or are looking at have the same exact colors, especially the Jumpman logo, because a lot of fakes have the wrong colored Jumpman.
Black/Royal Blue/White - Jumpman should be a blue color
Turn your head sideways and you can see all of them say Jumpman - Jordan except the Black/Royal ones, which say Jumpman Jam.
This is a graphic I made of the "23" on the back of each XI.  Both numbers under fake and real are exactly the same size. However, on the fake one, the spacing between the 2 and the 3 is much less than that of a real pair.  So if you can, always check the spacing of the two numbers, because this can tell you if they are fake or not.
FAKE
Here's a picture of the carbon plating of a fake pair of Black/red XIs.  You can see that none of the black squares touch, unlike the real pair below.  They also appear to be slightly smaller.

Also, on fake black/red XI's, the sole is a bit brighter than a normal pair
REAL
Notice how they little squares all touch like a checkerboard...unlike the fake version where the grey area isn't made up of little squares like the real shown here.

Notice how the red is a little darker on the real pair too?
See how the patent leather is pointy in the white circle? That should be much smoother like the picture of the real thing. Also....it may be slightly hard to tell, but again....the sole of the fake version is a much brighter red then that of the authentic.  Back to the point....on newer fakes, this problem has been pretty much eliminated, but not completely.  So look for this, but if it doesn't have the pointy patent leather, it still could be fake.
<-FAKE
This picture shows a very well done fake pair of Concords. However, you can tell these are fake because of the narrowness of them.  This is somewhat difficult to tell, because there usually isn't a pair of authentics right next to the fakes, but with practice it becomes easier.

MORE COMING ON THIS......
