THE LADIES RULE AT TURFWAY PARK!!

On February 14, 2001, Turfway Park sponsored a special race in which every horse in the field was ridden by a female jockey. As you can see in the photo below, female jockeys make up a significant portion of the Turfway jockey colony. In fact, Turfway did not have to import any riders from out of town to make up the field in this race. The picture below includes several of the women who made up the Turfway Park colony in 2001.
