SUMMARY

Ryder cup 3 took place 40 minutes south of Boston. The weather was unusually warm for late October afternoon. The course was in excellent condition except for the aerated greens. The playing was rough all day for both sides, everybody struggling on the putting green. The koreans, as in past history, once again jumped out to a quick start, winning hole one. The battle was back and forth on the front nine, nobody able to take control of the match. The front nine ended deadlock.

The back started off like the front. With Bryan struggling to find his game all day, Rich finally took over. He surged to outright win holes 11 and 12, which made three holes out of the last four for him. That proved to be enough to hold off the koreans once again, as a last second come back effort from Jamin and Tae fell short. That make it three in a row for the chinese and three straight MVPs for Rich.
