Hello, how is the band for these days? Greetings to you!! The band is alright as you may known I live in UK for timebeing dueto my job but i wnet back to Turkey on january and recorded 2 brand new songs

sooon my band mates will come over UK and if good luck will be with us we are gonna
show up on stage and this will be our debut gig! How born the idea to create a Doom Metal band? I used to be an editor of an underground fanzine called ETERNAL and i had to quit
that activity on year 1999 due to vital reasons despite I was not willing to quit it.
Then a day a I asked myself what the fuck am I gonna do now? I was always thinking
about forming a band but I just wanted to create something unique beside the things
which I listen to in my regular life. it was a very cold black winter day Istanbul was under
snow the time was something like 2 am in the morning I had pretty melancholic band
on my deck, drinking red wine and feeling pretty dreary due thinking of my dead beloved
an under those circumsestences a band came up called VAVEYLA. What’s the meaning of the band name? Oh my gosh! Holy crap again the same question J ok ok I wil answer it last time
J VAVEYLA means Lamentation in old Turkish. What’s the discography of Vaveyla? Well; we have released 2 cd’s up to now. On year 2003 we have released our rehearsal cd
and on december of 2004 we have recorded our debut demo ‘Abandoned Like a lighthouse.’
Hopefuly our new cd will come up on fall of 2006 or on 2007 i have no clue at the moment. Tell me about your shows… Hell yeah unfortunately we have never had an opportunity to play live but as I told you
on my earlier answer if my band mates will come over to England to visit me maybe
we will play a gig here but nothing for sure for now we will see… Tell me about the Turkish metal scene... Hmmm.. I think I have told a lot about my countries metal scene it is not that good personally
I do not like it of course we have very good bands but everything depends on very well support
unfortuantely we do not get sufficent support through our fans. our audience pretty sucks
more than enough trends and posers that is which i fanaticly hate!! Argghhhh!! Which is the ideological message of your songs? All our lyrics are weritten by me and they all about love, sex, hate, hatred, sluts, whores, sex
and depression etc.. shortly let’s say it includes all negative part of a life… What’s your opinion about the Satanism? Ha ha ha J sorry but this question made me laugh I have nothing to do with that shit!
for me it is bullshit and pretty stupid. and I do not like to talk about relegion sects and
believes in my life and same goes for my band. Next question please… Do you know South American metal bands? Yeah dude I know few.. I know Drowned Jailor Krisiun from Brasil they all fucking kick ass..
and when I was in USA I had a Colombian friend and he was in a death metal band… Thank you for your time, please a final comment for the readers... Thanx a lot for the interview support and interest! I really appreciate it!
