Tomasz doesn't trust anybody, however he sent a CDr with all the demo The Underground Storms Eternally (intro + 5 violents tracs + outro) Throneum belonges to the old school 80's when all was real and original. Death Metal!!!
When Throneum satrted? Throneum were formed in sumer 1996.Which is the discography of the band until today?
Well we have a few reh.tapes from our early days but they weren't released. First demo was recorded in 1998, it was entitled "Beyond the numbers and creatures". We had personal problems after this tape therefore we were able to record our second demo "The Underground Storms Eternally" in 2000 at last. Well, this tape was spread in 800 copies up till now and it's still available. Soon, Brazilian Vampire Records will rerelease both demos as pro-done CDR. In July this year we recorded 5 tracks for split CD with our Mexican friends from THE LIGHT OF THE DARK entitled "Brotherhood In Darkness". We are recording a stuff in this moment for our debut CD "Old Death's Lair".
Have been problems in the recordings or in the shows?
No we haven't got any problems with recording! Well, we aren't satisfied with the production/sound of our first demo tape but the other is great. We don't play too many gigs, because there aren't many posibilities doing it in our area, but we love to make dirty noise on the stage!How has been the support inside and outside Poland?
Well, I think we've got better support outside Poland that in our shitty country. Polish scene mostly sucks! There are only a few good and fucking metal to the bone bands and zines. Really - only a few! Others adore all this homosexual music of nowadays!
What's the inspiration to songwrite?
We are inspired first of all by old / old school bands like Blasphemy, Sodom, Morbid Angel, Kreator, Mortem, Asphyx, Merciless, Mayhem, Old Funeral, Pentacle, Shub-Niggurath, Unpure etc. But inspiration can be everything. The most important in Throneum's music is aggression and dark mood. Of course first of all there is music but not only! There are Satanism, terror or even sex too hehehe.
What you can say to us of Poland about Metal and general culture?
One word: SHIT! Hehehe, but it's an exaggeration of course but not too big! Well there are a few true metal worshipping bands that make my head banging, I mean AZARATH, WITCHMASTER, DAMNATION, HANGOVER, HELLBORN and DARK LEGION also there are a few good zines like WOLFPACK, DAILY HORROR, AGONIA and NECROSCOPE... I don't care about others.
Which projects has Throneum on this moment?
You mean side projects? Well, Throneum's bassist and me are playing in another band, but that's too early to say anything about it.
What has been the best experience of the band?
Well, I really don't know. I learnt a lot when I played with old bassist. This man turned out to be a fucking asshole. It was a good lesson to play with him and kick him out at last. No more wimps inside Throneum!!!
Have you listened colombian bands? ¿who?
Yes of course! Alex, for me Southamerican and Australian scene is the best! Fucking crazy and evil! I'm in touch with Alex of MASACRE and Majestic Fire of INFERNAL. But of course I know other bands like Manitu, Witchtrap, Maleficarum etc...
Why did you take a Marduk cover In VII Gates compilation, and not a Throneum song?
Because VII Gates wanted to have covers, not original tracks of the bands. There was such concept. I really don't know why we made cover of Marduk. This band isn't our inspiration anyway. Well, during the pause while rehearsing we played "Opuse Nocturne" in our stereo and we started to play together with CD the song "Deme Quade Thyrane", but it was really a spontanouosly choice. We didn't plane it befor. We did this cover and recorded it during "The Underground Storms Eternally" session, but this track wasn't released on this demo. This song will appear also on tribute tape por Max of Impaler Of Trendies Prod.
What's your opinion about the compilation Death Knell of Eternal Night Records?
That's first compilation we are really proud to feature. You know, Throneum took a part in a few other compilations but mostly they didn't satisfied us anyway! But DEATH KNELL feature only killer underground metal bands. Really, that's great work Alex! ED- You who are reading this ¿what do you wait to buy it?
