SPIRITUAL INVADER
COLOMBIA
Fernando Camargo -guitar and throat- of this colombian band
answered this interview:
To start since the beginning, how did you achieve the integration
of members of several bands to create Spiritual Inavader?
Well, we the Spiritual Invader members are friends since a long time,
when we played in Ablepsia and Exhort, which finished; short time
after that, we consolidated the new band getting better results,
better level and a lot of force... each member has a big past and the
result is speeds, technicals, and sounds.
Who's every one in the band? where do you come from?
Andrés Rozo drums
Juan C. Contreras bass
Alejandro Ortiz guitars and chorus.
Fernando Camargo guitars and throat.
Fernando Camargo, is guitarist of Ablepsia (1995-1998),
(see links), Juan C. Contreras, is guitarist of
Exhort (1996-1998), (see links), and Andrés and
Alejandro were part of an extinct band (1997-1999)
We have several years working for this kind of music and we
have played important concerts, as the concert with KREATOR (1998);
the sales of “Siglos de dolor” and “Vehements Conceptions” inside
and outside our country; and the compilations
“tributo al metal de los 90”, “Looking Through The Windows II”,
and “From Colombia With Hate uno”.
Which are the foundations of the band?
SPIRITUAL INVADER express the music and lyrics with the hate and
the pain of mankind blinded by religion foundations, developing
the sick belief over the life..!
You are promoting "Biomechanic Evolution" CD
which has 6 songs. How is that piece?
"Biomechanic Evolution" is the first piece of SPIRITUAL INVADER, and
it's a corrosive Death metal made in Colombia, it has a high quality
of sound and full color artwork, the songs are:
1. Return to mortuary
2. Obstinate to something
3. Thanatos
4. Instrument of death
5. Cold War
6. Soul die
Also Spiritual Invader is part of the compilations
From Colombia with Hate 2 and True Metal Subversion
this two compilations do a great work spreading the metal, “True Metal
Subversión” and “From Colombia with Hate 2” gave us the oportunity
of know the other bands.
What about the Death Metal Fest II in Pereira city?
It was a total success for us, it was the first visit to that city
in this year, we were invited for this fest. we gave a lot of
energy to the people.
And the next concerts?Spiritual Invader has the next
concerts soon
Bogotá, October 04 2003 (Grind Death Fest. II)
Bogota, September 19 2003 (Festival pagano 2)
Bogotá, December 2003 (Death Metal Homenage to David Rairan)
Medellín, September 2003
What's your opinion of the bands with female vocals?
I guess that bands as Sinister are interesting, but women with that
vocals are few. And you know the rest of women sing heavy metal or
gothic.
