Here is the interview to Sergio Gaviria, the only member of theColombian band Sagros. He's presenting a 7 songs CD. When started the band? SAGROS was formed in 1998 in Cali City as a thrash
metal band with clasical roots. Why Sergio Andrés Gaviria is the only member of SAGROS? The band has changed the line up three times,
We were 5: Alejandro Echeverry, (vocals), Sergio Gaviria (lead guitar)
Jorge Chamorro (rhytm guitar), German Flores (drums) and Mauricio Gutierres
(bass). With that line up we recorded at Powersound Studios the first
work entitled SILENCIO, it'e a demo tape with four songs which speak
about the human being as creator and destroyer of everything that exists
it was pressed by HATE PRODUCCIONS from Palmira City. In the second line up I passed to the vocals and Julián Gutierrez entered as
bass player, but the other two men went out. Is it hard or is it easy: be the only member in a band?
It's hard, but I have to do everything, contact and interviewswritting songs and recording of that, but I like it, it costs
sacrifice and money. Also it's thanks to the support of a friend
Jhon Osorio, taht I could to realize this project by our label HATRED RECORDS. How it sound the "The Paths of Death" CD? It's my personal work, it's something inside me; it has 7 songs full of
thrash energy about all the faces and ways of the Death. It means the funeral
of my first band. It's in english language. Which are your 5 favorites bands in the story? SLAYER, KREATOR, SEPULTURA, CANNIBAL CORPSE and MASSACRE (USA) and a lot more... How is the scene in Cali this year? Well, here are a great enough people in every concert and every fest
as "ENCUENTRO DE METAL", "LA CRUZADA DEL FUEGO" and in theatres and pubs,
