This known colombian band goes on with the promotion of Dirge, its first CD. It was commissioned to open for DESTRUCTION in Cali city, something more in its story. Thus they answered:
Of the demo tapes and the CD, which do you guess is the best work? well, first that all we want to thank you Alex for the interest in NAMELESS, about your question, it's hard to tell which is the best one but for us all were on its time, and today they are experiences which have added so much as a band. Whit Dirge we count on with most time to work in the production and the concept of the CD, though we had some limitations we are very satisfied with the result. What's that you recommend us of the CD?
We guess that the most important for us is that in Dirge we achieved that our music speak by itselve; we worked a lot in the lyrics and we guess that we achieved the "expressin" that we needed. For what reason did you include two songs from the tapes? We included "Nameless" (Dome of Doom) 'cos that song has an special meaning for. With "Anguish" (Across the Threshold) we just wanted an space in Dirge for the old singer. It wasn't anything planed, bouth things was born in the studio. How hve been the sales of the CD inside and outside Colombia? The answer is good, however we are speaking of a first edition, as you know is most promotional. What's the thing that makes you be as Nameless? That thing is that NAMELESS always has done what NAMELESS has wanted do, in a honest way. For you what means music, metal, and art? Music: the way to express or to induce, Art: is the term which are metal bands that finish playing shit!; Metal: one of the few things that we must to live. What's the principal wish for Nameless? To grow as musicians. And of course, to find a future for the band outside this country. Which is the colombian band that you admire more? We admire those who have worked seriously and keep right now, really few ones. Specially none. What was the best show in Colombia on last year? DESTRUCTION, 'cos this band means a lot for the METAL. DEATHRASHIN' MADNESS!!! Finally tell us the line up and a message to the ones you hate... NAMELESS is: Byron in the vocals, Juan Carlos and Samir in the guitars, Alex in the bass and Robin in the drums. About the message, SLOW AND PAINFULL AGONY are good for them.
