A few bands from my country have achieved to forge by their efforts an history of honor and keeping themselves alive. A few bands have achieved to bring their name with their music in a lot of countries in the world. Hi guys, welcome to Eternal Night zine Hello Alex, thanks for this interview, furthermore of your interest and support, thank you for be always there. What did feel the band playing again in 'Rock al Parke Fest' in Bogotá city, and specially being the commissioned to close the Metal day? To play in Bogotá is the coolest, the people is sick and brutal, that fest is a massive encounter which summones a lot of fans and bands, we closed the Metal day for 100.000 fans, something unbelieveble, it will be recorded in our lifes forever This year you played again in Bogotá. Which have been the shows in the present year? We have played few, twice in Bogotá, that's very important for us, we hope to be again soon there. About the new album, how was the bussiness with Decade Records? For how many albums? Well, Decade has done a contract for 3 albums, we are planing to press a live show furthermore a video and a new album for the next year. Why 'Muerte verdadera Muerte' was released by an argentina label almost in the same time with the colombian label? Well, before the signing with decade, we were doing a bussiness with an argentina label called Hurling Metal which has supported always. What band do you prefer from the anothers of Deacde Records? Liturgia for its work and brutality, furthermore we are friends..... the neew album is brutal. Is it hard to find a replacement musicians for who have gone? It's not easy becouse first fo all I seek friends and then comes the rest. Now we got two new members. In the moment to choose we take a care 'cos we can't improvise. How do you achieve that your music be sold in Europe with too much bands that exist on the moment? There's too much things in our music which becomes MASACRE original and brutal inside the Death Metal scenne. Which was the last show outside Colombia? Maybe in Venezuela on 1999 when we played in 3 cities of there. That was wonderfull maybe we will played again there in the Muerte Verdadera Muerte Tour. To get all the MASACRE discography is very hard, becouse some items were limited edition. Have you think of rerelease some of that works or to release a compilation with the best? Yes, we want to release again the old stuff with a new presentation, with some bonus tracks. Decade wants to release a CD with the best of our stuff too. What do you guess that it's the factor to keep you more than ten years in the escene? We have been honest and real with our sound, we tell the truth with brutal music. Do you think that MASACRE is over the top? Actually we are fighting with another things which lack, we hope that come soon to share with all. Is the money necesary for a colombian band to recognize abroad? All influences, is'n it? The money is one part of all but it isn't all, if you do the things without loyalty and honesty you can't achieve anything. Of the new bands which are growing every day in the world, which do you think that has so much things to show in the escene? The new bands of Brazil and Tampa Florida that play DEATH METAL. What do you say about the actually of Colombia? It's a SHIT!!!!! To finish a commentary...
