Hi Corpus, how was the begining of your band?
BLACK ANGEL started on the half of 1993 from the ashes of two black metal bands as ABADON on 1988 and PROFANADOR MORTHIS on 1990. It born in the north of Lima, exactly in Comas with the main purpose of rise the underground metal in Comas. With ideal highly nationalistic, and socialistic, with cruel makeups, nails and chains, with obscure messages and subversiv to keep the old sound of 80's of metal in southamerica like Sarcófago, Expulser, Necrofago, Mistifyer, Bestial War.......
What do you remind from the first gig?
I remember that we debuted on FIRST METAL FEST IN COMAS on october 15th 1994 in front 400 persons, in that debut of Black Angel our band was new, but we were the band with best aceptattion and there's was a brutal pogo, the other bands was over ten years of exist. Three hours before the guitarrist get arrested by cops but he was free finally and to destroy brains.... it was an unforgetable experience.
Which have been de main problems for Black Angel?
There's a lot of problems in Black Angel but the harder is economic, then goes social and culture problems that also damege the metal in Peru. Our society is manipulated, blind, and afraid. In my country is so hard to wake up minds in the power sistem drived by USA, that nation never will allow education here. If this finishes the number of metal maniacs will grow but a high education and culture level help us to be most unided, respectful, analyst, nationalistic, perfectionist, centered, in fron everything around.
Why the other musicians went out?
Right as you said they themselves went out with their irresponsible attitude, they couldn't go on at this rhytm. Any person must to be serious in Black Angel and work hard, furthermore you know in all band in the world are changes in the line up, they are necesary to evolve and progress.
Which was the result of the fights in the Peruvian Underground Metal Gig?
The result was to elaborate an strategic plan to margin and destroy Black Angel, all for we wanted equality in the sound for all. They attempted to sabotage our sound and assaulted us. We had to defend us. If you live far from Lima they wish to destroy to you.
The fact of you have not permanent muscians, is it an impediment to the world know you?
Black Angel doesn't need to be known becouse we are known already and our conviction is own, so we aren't interested in what others speak. We have a way and we know where to go. The session muscians are permanent now we are an underground band, our music is for selected and real persons whick like extreme dark and rebellious metal.
Are there a colombian bands that you like?
I like the old sound of old bands or new bands that doesn't loose the true sound of 80's, I'm going to die with that sound. I liked old and big bands as Parabellium and Reencarnación

Metal is a way to live with diferent ideas, we'll achieve the union to Metal grows. Don't trust anybody, be analytical, prove and investigate, don't allow that others manipulate to you.
