with many choices to make,
sometimes pain and hurt,
hampers the path you take.
You search and search,
to fill a void inside,
only to discover,
from yourself you can't hide.
Sometimes you hopelessly seek,
in your way to find the truth,
in the arms of many lovers,
trying to dispell the fears of youth.
Or you mask the pain,
with neverending drinking,
allienating all,
and the very thing you are seeking...
One day you realize,
this is not the way,
you face those fears,
and begin your life as a new day...
Though the years,
you slowly realize,
the person you see in the mirror,
is looking back with new eyes.
You know now that happiness,
is a chance you must take,
you find your own,
in the choices you make.
You finally learn to trust,
in your soul and mind,
for you know you have found,
something truly one of a kind.
Choose wisely,
for what it comes down to, you see,
is a matter of happiness,
in what is to be.
Live life each day,
never regret things you did or did not do,
never hurt another in the process,
always remember the truth of this rule....
