On the south leg of the wye is the Terry Lumber Company spur track, notice the switch is built as a curved turnout. Some folks say theres no such thing. . .
The Terry Lumber spur goes through the gate, it is a bit hard to see as it is covered dirt. Forklifts also use this gate to bring lumber in from the freight cars. A second spur is centered inside the wye also used for unloading lumber products.
Looking westward on the branch from the center wye spur, one of the Terry Lumber buildings can be seen in the distant where the tracks cross Victory Blvd.
Looking back towards the main line tracks of the north leg of the Wye. As cars are unloaded, lumber is set near the tracks.
This is a wood products company located south of the wye track. The south leg of the wye is seen joining the drill track. The wood products company also has their own spur track into the plant.
At the far south end of the drill track is the Burbank Cold Storage Company. This is about all that is left of any of the older industries along the main line in Burbank. Like that Tombstone Pizza truck, pizza's must be real killers.
