You'll need a hoof dressing brush, but it has to be one that has not been used for anything else. Gently, push your horse's upper lip up and brush up and down over his front teeth. You can brush over the gums as well. Freshen it in warm water frequently. Reserve this brush for his teeth only and store it (after it's completely dry) in a plastic bag to keep it free of contamination.
